Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains which personal data we process in connection with this website, online appointment booking, our newsletter and when you contact us. It is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, its provisions apply as well.

Please send any data protection requests to this address.

2. Visiting the website and hosting

This website is hosted by Hostpoint AG in Switzerland. When you visit the website, the server automatically stores technical information in log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page. We need this information to provide the website securely and reliably. It is not combined with other data and is deleted automatically after a limited period.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website sets a single, technically necessary cookie: “pll_language” stores your chosen language (German or English) and expires after one year. We do not use any analytics or tracking services or advertising cookies. Fonts are not loaded from external servers. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number and the content of your message) to answer your enquiry. Our email service is operated by Microsoft (Microsoft 365); emails are stored on Microsoft servers.

5. Newsletter

To subscribe to our newsletter, we need your email address. It is sent to us by email via the sign-up form and used exclusively to send our newsletter. The subscription is based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by sending a message to evelina@evfron.ch. Your address will then be deleted.

6. Online appointment booking with Calendly

You can book appointments at our atelier online via the Calendly service, provided by Calendly LLC, 271 17th Street NW, Suite 1000, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA. The booking window is only loaded when you click a booking link such as “Atelier appointment”. No data is sent to Calendly before that.

When you book, Calendly and we process the details from the booking form, in particular your name, email address, phone number and chosen appointment, as well as your details on wedding date, accompanying persons, dress size and style preferences. We use this information to plan and hold the appointment and to remind you of it by email or, if you wish, by text message.

Calendly stores the data in the USA and is certified under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Within the booking window, Calendly sets its own cookies and asks for your consent itself. For more information, see Calendly’s privacy notice.

7. Links to Instagram

Our website contains links to our Instagram profiles. These are simple links, not embedded content: no data is sent to Instagram (Meta) until you click a link. Instagram’s own privacy policy applies on Instagram.

8. Disclosure and transfer abroad

We only share personal data with the service providers named here (Hostpoint, Microsoft, Calendly) where this is necessary for the purposes described. They process the data on our behalf. We do not sell any data. Transfers to the USA are based on the recipient’s certification under the Data Privacy Framework.

9. Legal bases under the GDPR

Where the GDPR applies, we base the processing on your consent (newsletter), on entering into and performing a contract (appointment booking, enquiries) and on our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and properly (log files, language cookie).

10. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations, for example up to ten years for business correspondence and accounting records.

11. Data security

The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.

12. Your rights

You may request information about the personal data we process about you, as well as its correction, deletion, restriction of processing or release in a common electronic format. You may object to the processing and withdraw your consent at any time. Please contact us at the address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch). Persons in the EU or EEA may contact the data protection authority of their country of residence.

13. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
